Job description

We are recruiting for a Night Property Security Warden. This is a frontline role providing a visible presence across our schemes, supporting the safety, wellbeing, and confidence of our customers. You will act as a key liaison between residents and the Association, ensuring that issues are identified early, responded to appropriately, and escalated when required. This role will be rotated on 3 on 4 off rota basis covering a number of schemes in the Belfast area.

Responsibilities

• Be a liaison between our customers and the Association, participating in positive promotion of the scheme.
• Monitor, report and record details of events within the schemes including anti-social behaviour, vandalism, neighbour nuisance and complaints. Contact emergency services and Housing Officer.
• Advise your Housing Officer of any incidents or accidents in the scheme involving our customers or their visitors.
• Carry out inspections and safety checks at the schemes and note any defects or repair needs to the Housing Officer.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• One years’ experience working in a Security/Caretaker role.
• One year’s relevant experience working with customers.
• Have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
• Have a high level of flexibility including covering for colleagues and responding to emergencies.
• Committed to working a shift pattern which will include weekends.

Desirable Skills

• A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence.
