Lift Engineer
Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair a range of lifts in a domestic setting. Daily tasks include conducting site assessments, assembling and fitting lift components, performing routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting issues and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations. The role involves interacting with clients to demonstrate stairlift functionality and provide user instructions. Participate in out of hours call rota for maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical engineering, electrical systems and diagnostics
- Site survey assessment, assembling and fitting stairlifts
- Troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently following safety protocols
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Valid driving licence
- Ability to travel to various locations
Desirable Skills
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience
