Responsibilities

  • General tidy round leaving all areas clean and safe
  • Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Support Service Users with medication administration and health monitoring as required
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Document care activities accurately and report any concerns to senior staff

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
  • Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
  • Communication skills
  • Able to promote and deliver person centered care
  • Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care

Desirable Skills

  • QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care
  • Previous paid caring experience
