Our client in Antrim are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their growing Production team. You will be involved in operating machinery and tools, assembling products, carrying out quality checks, loading and unloading materials, and following health & safety procedures while working as part of a busy production team.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team on a production line for processing metals.
• Operating machinery and production equipment following training
• Cutting, assembling and preparing aluminium profiles and components
• Measuring materials and checking products for quality
• Following production specifications and instructions
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch
• Carrying out visual quality checks
• Keeping the production area clean and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working to daily production targets and deadlines
• Reporting any defects, machinery issues or production problems to the supervisor
• Carrying out other general production duties as required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and production procedures
• Reliable with timekeeping and attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
• Willing to learn and undertake training
• Awareness of health and safety procedures

Desirable Skills

• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience in a factory or industrial environment is an advantage
• Previous experience working with machinery or aluminium products is desirable
