Job description

We are recruiting for a Nursery Nurse. Monday to Friday, with varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene
• Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to learning journals or developmental records.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and education.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with children with additional needs.
