Our client is a leading supplier of beef and lamb to wholesale and retail customers across Northern Ireland and the UK and is seeking a General Operative to join their team in Crumlin

Responsibilities

• Working on a production line
• Training on knife skills
• Training to prepare meat for retail
• Carrying out quality checks during production
• Ensuring products meet company quality standards
• Reporting equipment faults, damaged products or other issues to supervisors
• Working towards production targets
• Working effectively with other members of the team

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Willingness to learn new processes and operate machinery

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or a similar environment would be an advantage but is not essential
