Job description

We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced cook to join our team. Ideal candidate will have previous catering experience, preferably within a Nursing Home setting and have a genuine interest in providing high quality meals and a positive dining experience for our Residents. Food Hygiene certificate and relevant experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for Residents.
• Cater and experience within individual dietary requirements, allergies and special diets.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Work closely with the Nursing team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Sound knowledge of Food hygiene, Health and Safety courses previously completed.
• Ability to prepare nutritious, well balanced meals.
• Understanding of special dietary requirements, including allergies, modified diets and texture modified meals.
