Job description

The Laser Cutter Operative is responsible for the precise and efficient cutting of sublimated fabric panels used in sportswear production. This role ensures all components are cut accurately according to design specifications and production schedules, supporting a smooth workflow from printing through to garment assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machinery to cut sublimated fabric panels for sportswear garments
• Accurately follow cutting files, markers, and production specifications to ensure correct sizing and alignment
• Ensure sublimated designs are correctly positioned and matched before cutting
• Monitor cutting quality, identifying issues such as misalignment, incomplete cuts, or fabric defects
• Maintain consistent output to meet daily and weekly production targets and deadlines
• Prioritise workloads in line with the production schedule to ensure timely delivery to the sewing department
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance, reporting faults or issues promptly
