Job description

The production of high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools.

Responsibilities

• Producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools
• Interpreting and reading workshop/design and CAD drawings.
• Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
• Ensuing delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained.
• Adherence to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and responsible manner.
• Any other duties within the Job Holder’s sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience of high quality carpentry and joinery.
• Ability to interpret and read workshop/design and CAD drawings.
• Experienced in the use of wood working machines.
• Ability to set up work pieces and tools.
• Process work effectively and produce quality workmanship.
