One of our clients, based in Ballymena, is looking for an experienced Blinds & Shutter Fitter to join their team. The purpose of the role is to professionally install and fit blinds and shutters at customers’ properties, ensuring all installations are completed accurately, safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Install bespoke blinds and plantation shutters
• Carry out accurate fitting, adjustments and finishing work
• Use hand and power tools safely and confidently
• Maintain a clean and professional working environment
• Travel to customer properties using a company vehicle
• Complete job records using a tablet or basic software
• Represent Village Blinds and Shutters professionally at all times

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fitting, joinery or a similar trade
• Minimum 2 years’ experience using power tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Practical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Right to work in the UK

The role is based in Ballymena and involves travelling to customer homes and businesses across Northern Ireland using a company vehicle.
