Job description

We are seeking temporary Dayshift Production Operators for our client based in Newtownards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient storage of raw materials.
• Ensuring sufficient stocks and packaging are delivered to appropriate production area.
• Transfer of finished goods to dispatch area.
• Assisting with stock takes, performing racking inspections.
• General housekeeping and any goods inwards processes that may occur within the shift.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• General housekeeping and any goods inwards processes that may occur within the shift.
• Health and Safety Awareness in a factory environment.
• Previous experience of nightshift work.
• Ability to operate computerised stock control system.
• Previous stores/warehouse experience in a factory environment.
• Forklift truck licence/experience.

Further Information

Work time Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm (10 hours per day) = 50 hours Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm (10 hours per day) = 40 hours 6:00am start every other week. Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48 plus hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant may be required to sign an "opt-out" form.
