Job description
Provide the highest possible standard of care and support to Service Users by actively promoting and implementing Recovery by using a strengths based person centred approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain a trusting & professional relationship with Service Users and act in a supportive & empathetic manner towards them.
- Support Service Users to manage their Mental health, physical Contribute to & help maintain a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
- Health and wellbeing through the development, implementation and monitoring of individual wellbeing and safety management plans.
- Actively encourage the involvement of Service Users in all aspects of decision making, be sensitive and seek solutions to difficulties encountered by them.
- Implement & adhere to Inspire Mental Health’s Journey Procedures, involving Service Users at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- To be flexible and work such hours as required by the post in order to meet the needs of the service.
- A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence. Business Insurance is a requirement for this post.
- Be educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a related subject e.g. Care and 6 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
- OR A minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
