Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of doors/ frames.
• Assist in edgebanding & press of doors as required.
• Mitre, assemble & fit glazing beads.
• Fitting doors stops.
• Assist other employees as/when requested.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble according to specifications.
• Assist in the assembly of joinery items if required.
• Sanding & preparing joinery items prior to spraying.
• Assist in operating woodworking machines as required.
• Ensuring all finished jobs are to a high standard of quality.
• Packaging goods for dispatch.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered during operations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly problems and improve processes.
• Training will be provided prior to use of any machinery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Workshop experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work efficiently in a team setting.

Desirable Skills

• Joinery experience
• Practical experience within a joinery workshop preferred.
