Job description

Assembly of printed circuit boards and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Read Bills of Materials and verify the component parts supplied as being valid.
• Pre-form materials as specified.
• Fit all kinds of manual components.
• Carry out specific instructions and inspection as required.
• Solder components both Plate Through Hole and Surface Mount.
• Wash and dry electronic assemblies.
• Carry out packaging, final assembly and dispatch operations as required.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably required by your employer.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Fluent in English to follow Health & Safety guidelines.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of production work.
• Knowledge of electronic assembly processes.
• Soldering skills.

Further Information

Full training is provided. Starting rate £12.71 per hour depending on experience. Benefits: Staff uniform, BUPA Cashplan scheme, Company Pension, Free staff car park on site. Hours of Work: Full-time (39 hours over a 4 day week with an alternating start day of Monday/Tuesday).
