Job description

To drive JandK Coaches vehicles safely, professionally, and in accordance with all legal and company requirements. Coach Drivers are responsible for delivering reliable, high-quality passenger transport services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all passengers while upholding the company’s reputation for excellence. Base out of our Moneymore depot, you would drive a mix of School runs, private hires, sports teams and tourism trips across a range of coach sizes. Flexible hours available to suit.

Responsibilities

• Driving and Compliance: Operate company vehicles in line with all road traffic laws, Drivers’ Hours and Tachograph Regulations, and company procedures.
• Follow work tickets, schedules, and instructions from Operations staff or the hirer/courier. Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the defect reporting procedure is followed correctly.
• Maintain a high standard of defensive driving at all times, prioritising the safety of passengers, colleagues, and the public.
• Comply with all company and legal health and safety requirements.
• Represent JandK Coaches or Croga in a professional manner through appearance, punctuality, and conduct.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold (or be prepared to gain) a valid D Licence.
• Ability to deal with the physical aspects of the job.

Desirable Skills

• Ongoing professional competence (CPC) and company training must be completed as scheduled.
