Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the setting and operations of a Doosan V8300M vertical lathe and a Doosan Puma 2600Y lathe.

Responsibilities

• Setting and efficient running of CNC machines.
• Running prototypes as well as production runs.
• Choosing correct speeds and feeds for different materials including aluminium, cast irons and steels.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 GCSEs or equivalent, which must include English and maths.
• Experience of running CNC machines with FANUC controls.
• Experience of operating CNC lathes.
• Experience of programming CNC lathes.
