Job description

We are seeking a Deli Assistant to join the Nora & Katie Coffee team. Duties will include preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, making sandwiches, paninis and other food items, taking customer orders, operating the till, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drink
• Prepare sandwiches, paninis and other deli food
• Take customer orders and operate the till
• Provide efficient customer service
• Maintain high food hygiene and cleanliness standards

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Available to work every second Saturday

Desirable Skills

• Previous barista or food-service experience is preferred but training can be provided
• Food hygiene qualification

Further Information

This permanent position is for 37 hours per week. The successful applicant will join a busy coffee shop team. Training will be provided where required. The successful applicant must be comfortable working in a busy environment, work well as part of a team and be available to work every second Saturday.
