Job description
To lead and support the effective management, governance and continuous improvement of Facilities and Accommodation contracts and supplier relationships across the organisation. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently, provide value for money, meet business requirements and comply with relevant governance and regulatory standards. To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive Facilities and Accommodation service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.
Responsibilities
- To support the Workspace Services Manager in delivering an effective and efficient Workspace Services function, ensuring a professional, proactive, customer orientated, and high-quality service is provided to support business objectives.
- To support the Workspace Services Manager in the management of contracts to ensure delivery of value for money supplies and services and achievement of key performance indicators.
- To support the Workspace Services Manager in developing & embedding sustainable practice within the Departments supplies and services contracts.
- To support the Workspace Services Manager in delivering supplies and services to the estate on time and in full.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Possess a Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (such as business management, procurement, commercial management, facilities management, property management, governance, project management or a related field).
- Can demonstrate at least two years' relevant experience managing contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement activities.
- OR Exceptionally, can demonstrate 5 years’ relevant experience in managing contracts, supplier relationships, and procurement activities and can demonstrate continued professional development including the attainment of relevant qualifications.
