Production Administrator


Job description

Our Client, Terumo, is searching for an Production Administrator Assistant to join their team, based in Larne. The Engineering Department Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Engineering Department, ensuring effective management of engineering stores, materials ordering, contractor administration, departmental reporting, and document control activities. The role plays a key part in supporting engineering operations, maintenance activities, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and maintenance of employee time and attendance records across two digital platforms.
  • Review attendance data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support absence reporting and attendance tracking processes.
  • Assist in maintaining overtime and shift records as required.
  • Liaise with Payroll and HR to ensure accurate employee administration.
  • Assist with the administration of return-to-work documentation, and other routine employee records.
  • Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
  • Technical operations support.
  • Perform SAP production support transactions including backflushing and routine 201 material movements in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Support the GMP review of completed production batch documentation to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or documentation errors requiring correction.
  • Coordinate document corrections and follow-up actions with production personnel to ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support data collection and reporting activities associated with manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Support the review and compilation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data and reports for Production and Technical Operations teams.
  • Provide administrative support for investigations, deviations, and other operational quality processes as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum secondary level education to include GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade A-C).
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across different departments.
