Our client, a family-run business based in Northern Ireland, delivering a diverse range of construction, environmental and facilities management services across the public, private and commercial sectors is seeking a General Operative/Forklift Driver to join their team based in Dundrod.

Responsibilities

• Operation of on-site baler and processing plant
• Operation of non-road vehicle i.e. counterbalance forklift and telescopic forklift
• Carrying out prestart checks and preventative maintenance on all fixed and mobile plant
• Quality control on outgoing commodities
• Inspections of incoming loads
• Comply with site health and safety rules and procedures

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience working with balers
• Must have valid licence and experience in one of the following: counterbalance forklift, telescopic forklift or 360 excavators
• Communication skills
• Ability to work as a part of a team and follow the given instructions
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance
