BSO_CWS Admin Supervisor
Job description
The Community Wheelchair Service delivers complete end-to-end services through all stages of care and health technology provision and recycling, within the social care and healthcare sector. Our services allow people to remain in their homes, this helps prevent extended hospital stays, allowing the NHS to deliver frontline care where it is needed most. The post holder will work as part of a dedicated team to provide an efficient and effective service to Customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure laid down policies and ISO Procedures in respect of stock management are carried out to maintain appropriate stock levels in line with customers Service Level Agreements
- Closely monitor stock holding for a selected range of commodity groups to achieve agreed service levels, whilst maintain target monetary investment in stock
- Liaise with Trust Discharge Co-Ordinators to facilitate timely discharge
- Authorise electronic purchase orders in line with agreed authorisation levels
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade C or above or equivalent qualification AND 2 A Levels OR equivalent Qualification
- AND Eighteen months relevant experience supervising staff in a Procurement and Logistics environment
- OR Three years relevant experience supervising staff in a Procurement and Logistics environment
- Hold a full current driving licence (valid in the UK) and have access to a car at the closing date or have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to carry out the duties of the post in full
- This relates only to any person who has declared that they have a disability, which debars them from driving
Desirable Skills
- Full member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport CILT Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply CIPS or equivalent professional body.
