Job description

HGV Driver Class 2 for Tilt & Slide Multi-car Transporter. Euro Autospares Ltd are seeking a new member for our team, we are recruiting a HGV Driver Class 2 to transport vehicles to and from our sites using a tilt and slide multi-car transporter lorry, covering collections across Northern Ireland. You will be the face of our company assisting in serving contracts secured with local authorities, third party companies, and vehicle manufactures, in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Drive the multi-car transporter to collect vehicles across Northern Ireland on the routes provided by the transport planner.
• Safely load and unload vehicles onto/from the transporter and make sure every vehicle is properly secured before travelling.
• Carry out daily/pre-start checks on the lorry and transporter and report defects, damage, equipment problems or mechanical failures immediately.
• Comply fully with drivers' hours, tachograph and CPC requirements.
• Meet customers when collecting vehicles and provide good customer service.
• Look after the lorry and its equipment and keep the vehicle reasonably clean and presentable.
• Wear the required uniform and PPE and follow Euro Autospares' health and safety procedures.
• Return collected vehicles to the designated Euro Autospares site and follow the site's unloading/yard procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Clean HGV Class 2 License.
• Digital Tachograph and CPC cards up-to-date.
