A Production Operative with forklift duties is responsible for operating machinery, handling raw materials, assisting with production processes, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The role also involves safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and finished goods, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and following health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment.
• Pack, label, and check finished products.
• Use a forklift to move and load materials.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Move stock around the warehouse and production area.
• Check product quality.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Follow health and safety rules.
• Meet daily production targets.
• Report any equipment faults or problems.
• Work as part of a team.
• May/can involve phycial duties.
