Job description

We are looking for a Baker to join the team at Bow Bells, Donaghadee. This is a flexible position, with weekend work required on a rotational basis. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing their own workload and taking pride in producing fresh, high-quality baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of fresh breads and scones.
• Produce cakes, tray bakes, sweet treats and other bakery items.
• Prepare seasonal and special bakery products as required.
• Maintain consistent standards of quality, taste and presentation.
• Work independently and organise the daily baking workload.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic bakery area.
• Follow all food hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Assist with developing new products and bakery ideas.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous baking experience.
• Able to work independently.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Focused on quality and presentation.
• Is flexible and able to work weekends on rotation.
