Community Care Worker
Job description
Due to expansion of service, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to Service Users' needs, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. These positions offer an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for those in your care. We are recruiting home care assistants to cover both full time and part time rotas in Rathfriland, Warrenpoint and Hilltown. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. We work a 4/3 rota pattern, Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The morning rotas begin at 07:00 and finish at 14:30; afternoon rotas begin at 15:00 and finish at 18:30 and the put to bed rotas begin at 19:00 and finish at 23:00.
Responsibilities

- General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
- Communication skills
- Able to promote and deliver person centered care
- Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
Desirable Skills
- QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
- Previous paid caring experience.

location: Rathfriland, Warrenpoint and Hilltown. £12.95 per hour plus mileage at 20p per mile. Excellent hourly rate of pay. Mileage paid. Annual leave on a pro rata basis.
