Job description

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Jennymount Business Park. The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Business Park, ensuring that our communal areas, facilities and selected offices and meeting spaces are clean, hygienic and welcoming for our tenants, their employees, clients and visitors. This is a varied, hands-on role and would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and understands the importance of maintaining a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & maintaining all communal areas, including reception & entrance halls, stairwells, lobbies, toilet & shower rooms.
• Sweeping, vacuuming & mopping floors, dusting, wiping & cleaning surfaces, removing litter & emptying bins.
• Responsibilities may also incude cleaning selected office and meeting rooms:
• Vacuuming carpets, dusting desks, tables, chairs and other appropriate surfaces;
• Ensuring meeting and training rooms are clean and ready for use.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Demonstrates a proactive approach to delivering tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Organisational skills.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable working around members of the public, tenants & business professionals.
• Able to follow cleaning schedules & instructions.
• Capable of carrying out the physical duties of the role, including standing, walking, bending & using cleaning equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and report issues when necessary.

Desirable Skills

• Previous commercial or business premises cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of professional cleaning products and equipment.
• Experience working in a busy commercial environment.

Location: Jennymount Business Park.
