Job description

The Childcare and Early Learning services Manager will lead the development and delivery of high quality, inclusive childcare and early learning services for children aged 0 to12. This role requires a leader who can inspire staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive the strategic growth and sustainability of Rainbow Child & Family Centre Childcare Services. The post holder will champion best practice, safeguard children, and build strong relationships with families, partners, and the wider community. Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including Minimum Standards and associated Implementation Guidance.
• Lead a culture of safeguarding and child protection across the setting.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of high quality learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organisational development.
• Lead, supervise, and support staff teams to deliver high quality childcare & Early Learning services.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, promoting engagement and partnership.
• Maintain effective communication across staff, families, and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF Level 5 Diploma or higher in Child Care, Learning and Development or Playwork; Or a relevant qualification in early years education, social work, nursing, teaching, or health visiting.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
