Job description

We are looking for a Fashion Sales Advisor to join the Nora and Katie boutique team. The successful applicant will provide customer service, offer styling advice and help customers find outfits. The role also includes achieving sales, operating the till, processing deliveries, merchandising new stock, maintaining shop-floor standards and supporting the day-to-day running of the boutique. As social media is a key part of our business, applicants must be willing and confident to appear on social media daily, including clothing try-ons, product videos and styling content. Applicants must be reliable, confident approaching customers and available to work weekdays and every second Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service and actively drive sales.
• Approach customers and offer styling and product advice.
• Meet individual and team sales expectations.
• Operate the till and process payments, returns and exchanges.
• Replenish, merchandise and organise stock.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and attractive boutique.
• Work every second Saturday as part of the rota.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous fashion retail or sales experience is required. Proven sales experience in a retail environment.
• Ability approaching customers and actively driving sales.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a clothing boutique.
• Experience providing styling and outfit advice.
• Visual merchandising experience.

Further Information

This is a permanent position of 25 hours per week. Weekdays are to be discussed, along with every second Saturday. Additional hours may be available for the right person. The successful applicant must have a genuine love of clothing and fashion, approaching and advising customers, and the ability to build sales through customer service. As social media is a key part of our business, applicants must also be willing to appear on social media regularly, including clothing try-ons, styling videos and product-focused content.
