Production Operator
Job description
Our client, a medical devices company is seeking Production Operatives to join their company based in Larne.
Responsibilities
- Perform all manufacturing activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice and company goals
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Production facility and communication of production issues to management
- Perform regular internal compliance audits to ensure an audit ready Production facility
- Ensure the accurate completion of documentation, including batch and development records, logbooks and inventory records
- Inspect manufactured products to defined quality standards
- The successful candidate will manufacture and package pharmaceutical products according to written procedures under supervision, ensuring performance targets are met in compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety regulations.
- The role includes working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) using proper techniques and equipment and completing all necessary documentation accurately.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Communication skills (reading, writing and verbal)
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry for at least 6 months
