Senior Warehouse Operative
Job description
To assist our Night Team Leader/Manager. To have an authority figure on the floor, setting up the floor, assigning staff to jobs. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
- To carry out a variety of general warehousing duties and reporting duties
- Helping and directing warehouse staff with their duties.
- Scanning items in and out to correct routes.
- Loading trailers.
- Housekeeping.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience working on a number of processes within the warehouse
- Abiliity to meet performance requirements
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns and working hours including weekends and statutory holidays
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working within the JD Sports operation
- Experience buddying up/training of staff
