Job description

The successful applicant(s) will work as part of a team manufacturing components for timber house buildings and assisting with the erection of the buildings themselves. Applicants must be willing to travel long distances and stay away for a few days when required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation: Clear debris, and organise workspaces.
• Material handling: Unload, carry, and stack timber studs, roof trusses, roof sheets etc.
• Tool maintenance: Clean, organise, and safely store hand tools, nail guns, and power saws.
• Assists foreman and executes directives accurately.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The applicant(s) must have a valid CSCS Green Labourer Card.
• A full driving licence is required for this role, as the individual will be expected to drive the company van.
• Have knowledge in Health and Safety.
• Good time keeping essential.
• Please note this is a physically demanding role.

Desirable Skills

• Driving licence preferred.
