Assistant Care Co-Ordinator


Job description

To operate in a professional manner in accordance with the company ethos & Northern Ireland Social Care Council Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015 and UK General Data Protection Regulation and RQIA Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Agencies 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Booking pre-commencement visits.
  • Supporting care staff.
  • Actioning on call handover reports.
  • Assisting in On Call and Rota Management.
  • Assisting the Management Team with day to day operations.
  • New staff files and HR Administration.
  • Handling telephone enquiries.
  • Responding and reporting with Trust representatives, staff, service users and their representatives.
  • Service user monitoring and engagement.
  • Evaluation sheet audits.
  • Administrative duties including scanning, filing, photocopying and issuing documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Must have vocational level 3 or above in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years in a caring role and a minimum of 1 years experience in an administrative role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Access to a car for business purposes.

Desirable Skills

  • An ICT qualification or experience in a similar role is desirable.
