Job description

To undertake all duties associated with the post of Communities Manager, under the direction and guidance of the Assistant Director of Housing and Communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the Community Investment Strategy, undertake three yearly reviews and develop and implement the annual Community Investment Action Plan.
  • Lead on the Right Support Right Time PeacePlus three year project and other relevant projects.
  • Lead on the TBUC / Housing for All Programme.
  • To provide feedback on a regular basis to the Assistant Director of Housing and Communities in relation to all areas of responsibility.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience of developing / delivering Community Engagement programmes which have the potential to improve people’s lives.
  • Experience of working with strategic and community partners to deliver services within a community.
  • Experience of working with strategic and community partners to deliver services within a community.
  • Experience of Project Management.
  • Experience of being responsible for managing project budgets and performance monitoring.
  • Experience of preparation of reports, presentation and performance information for senior management
  • 2 years managing staff and leading teams to achieve agreed outcomes (in a team environment).
