Job description

We are looking for a Playgroup Assistant to join our team. The children are aged between 2 and 7 years old. Work with young children, supporting their individual needs and development.

Responsibilities

• Work with young children, supporting their individual needs and development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff, helping to create inclusive environment.
• Other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 3 Early Years Care and Education or working towards it.

Desirable Skills

• First Aid and Child Protection are desired but not essential.

Further Information

Temporary, term-time position from November 2026 to May 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position being offered.
