Job description

We are looking for a Trainee Sign Maker & Fitter to join our team at GMG Logos. This is an opportunity to learn a practical trade, gaining hands-on experience in making and installing signs, vehicle graphics and displays for a wide range of customers.

Responsibilities

• Make signs using materials including vinyl, aluminium, acrylic and wood.
• Receive training in the safe use of vinyl cutters, plotters, hand tools and other sign-making equipment.
• Prepare vehicles and apply vinyl graphics and wrap.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• An interest in practical work, signage, vehicle graphics or working with tools.
• Attention to detail and a able to follow instructions. Timekeeping skills.

Further Information

No previous sign-making experience is required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided by our experienced team. You will receive hands-on training across sign production, printing, vinyl application and installation. As your skills and confidence develop, you will gradually take on more responsibility, with support from experienced colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to build valuable skills and work towards becoming a skilled Sign Maker & Fitter. Overtime is available with optional Saturday work.
