Job description

To provide personal and domestic care to people living in their own homes, who due to a temporary or longer term disability, may not be able to manage their own care. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake any personal care, practical or domestic tasks appropriate to the care of the client.
• To be aware of and assist with the client’s health care needs as agreed with the referring agency.
• Maintain records as required and to report to their Line Manager on a regular basis.
• Must report all changes affecting their client to their Line Manager as soon as possible.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience of caring in a formal/informal setting.
• A full current driving licence and access to a car is also essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disabilitywho cannot hold a licence.

Further Information

3 month fixed term contract. Work Time: 12 and 20 hours per week, to be confirmed. Access NI check if successful at offer stage, in-line with Access NI Code of practice.
