Job description

We are recruiting a Qualified Gas Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and servicing within residential properties including void homes and occupied social housing.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure all gas related work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Duties will include gas servicing, breakdown diagnosis, repairs, installations and ensuring compliance with all current gas safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Relevant domestic gas qualification
• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs
• Knowledge of domestic heating systems and controls
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
• Communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with tenants
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Previous social housing or responsive maintenance experience would be an advantage
