Job description

To undertake general building maintenance duties with the ability to work across multiple trades, individually or as part of a team of other tradesmen, for the daily operation of planned and reactive maintenance, and general repairs of Council’s property, plant and equipment that ensures compliance with relevant safety and construction legislation across multiple locations in the district. Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must possess a full, current driving licence (Minimum Category B) which enables them to drive in Northern Ireland and to drive a council vehicle provided for official business.

Desirable Skills

• Full time served Trades person with City and Guilds Advanced Craft Parts 1, 2 & 3/NVQ level 3 diploma in one or more construction trade(s) or equivalent relevant qualifications.
