Carmichael Contracts Ltd would like to hear from skilled tradespeople interested in upcoming domestic extensions, renovations and general building work. We’re looking for someone with a background in a trade and good all-round building experience to work alongside our small team. Carry out skilled trade and general building work on domestic extensions and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled trade and general building work on domestic extensions and renovation projects.
• Work alongside other trades to complete work safely and to a high standard.
• Keep work areas tidy and take care of customers’ homes and property.
• Use initiative, follow instructions and communicate any issues or material requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a skilled construction trade, with practical experience on domestic building projects.
• Ability to produce good-quality work independently and as part of a small team.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Desirable Skills

• Experience across more than one building trade.
• Experience reading and working from construction drawings.
• Previous experience helping organise work or supporting less experienced team members.
• Access to/own transport.

Further Information

Start date and working arrangements to be agreed depending on upcoming workload and availability. An immediate start is not guaranteed. Pay negotiable depending on skills and experience.
