Job description

The post holder will: Support the management and further development of Fermanagh Early Years Children and Family Centre as a centre of excellence which delivers high-quality care, learning and development for children aged 0 to12. Ensure there is a continued focus on leading quality improvements across the early childhood sector. Promote and develop high quality, evidence-informed early childhood services for young children, their families and communities that instil the vision and values of the Early Years Organisation.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A degree in in a relevant discipline such as Early Years Care & Education or Social Work.
• At least 2 years’ experience of managing a day care facility or equivalent, including leadership of a staff team.
• A proven track record of effectively managing financial and service resources to meet agreed targets.

Desirable Skills

• Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of Northern Ireland childcare regulatory and legislative frameworks.

Further Information

Location: Fermanagh Early Years Children and Family Centre - Enniskillen. Salary: £40,554.90 - £43,532.22 per annum, pro rata (Point 29-32).
