Job description

The Finance Systems Analyst will support the effective operation, administration and continuous improvement of the integrated financial management system and associated financial systems, ensuring the provision of responsive user support, the resolution of system issues, and the development, implementation and testing of system enhancements and process improvements across the Finance Division.

Responsibilities

• To assist with the management the integrated financial management system by ensuring that all interfaces and routines are successfully executed in a timely manner.
• To manage the controlled change process for Chart of Accounts coding changes within the finance system.
• To support a range of Finance Systems and databases including Travel & Subsistence, Bacs, eFinancials (Finance System) and Contract Management.
• To assist with the interfaces between Finance Systems and other business systems.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a relevant qualification at A-level or above (i.e. ICT, Accounting, etc) OR
• Exceptionally, candidates not holding the above level of qualifications but with 3 years’ Finance systems experience may also be considered.
