A Part Time (25 hours per week) Cleaning and Maintenance Operative paying £12.71 per hour for a fixed term contract of 6 months based in Belfast. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cleaning and Maintenance Operative with an immediate start at a market leading, dynamic and renowned property, technology and innovative, technology-based car parking company. Euro Car Parks is a market leading, renowned UK business, established over 50 years ago. The company operates over 3500 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients. Part-Time Cleaning & Maintenance Operative in Belfast providing proactive site maintenance, support health and safety compliance, enhance customer experience, and assisting with parking enforcement activities. This role is offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on business needs and performance As you will be covering various sites across Belfast a full UK Driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily litter picking and waste removal.
• Safe collection and disposal of needles and hazardous items in line with company procedures.
• Weed treatment and vegetation control.
• Minor painting and refurbishment works.
• Cleaning of signs, ticket machines, and site boundary.
• Reporting maintenance defects.
• Identification and reporting of hazards.
• Immediate rectification of minor site defects.
• Maintaining safe and welcoming environments for customers.
• Monitoring compliance with parking terms and conditions.
• Issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) where appropriate and in accordance with company policy.
• Providing photographic evidence and reporting of vehicle contraventions.
• Assisting with site compliance audits.
• Acting as a visible presence on site.
• Assisting customers with basic enquiries.
• Supporting clients and stakeholders with site-related concerns.
• Deterring anti-social behaviour.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous cleaning and maintenance experience.
• Accuracy and attention detail.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.
• Communication skills both verbal and in writing.
• Customer service skills.
• Numerical skills.
• Technical experience and ability to use smart phones and / or PDA’s.
• The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times.
• The ability to work under your own initiative and self-motivate.
