Job description

To provide care and support to people with a variety of needs enabling them to maintain their aspirations for independent living. This job description is generic and applies to all community care workers. The care and support provided will be across the geographical area covered by Platinum Support and Care Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to people with a variety of needs enabling them to maintain their aspirations for independent living.
• The duties will be determined by the individual needs of the client being cared for.
• The context in which care is provided may vary according to the clients living environment.
• The care and support provided may be to people with physical needs, sensory disabilities, mental health needs, people of any age group, or a combination of these.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• No experience required as training will be provided.
• Must have registration with Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) before employment would commence.
• Must provide evidence of valid UK driver's license.

Further Information

Salary: £13.36 per hour Monday-Friday, £14.56 per hour Saturday-Sunday. Paid mileage 35p per mile.
