Job description

Our client, a well-established granite and stone manufacturer with over 25 years' industry experience, is seeking a Granite Fitter to join their team. This is a hands-on role requiring previous experience within the granite, quartz or stone industry.

Responsibilities

• Measure, fit and install granite, quartz and stone products.
• Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality workmanship.
• Identify and resolve fitting issues on-site. Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Read technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out polishing, finishing and quality checks.
• Inspect completed worktops, fireplaces, bar counters and bespoke stone products.
• Work closely with the workshop and fitting teams to ensure successful installations

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience within granite, quartz, marble or stone fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship. Experience supervising production processes or leading teams.
• Organisational and problem-solving skills. Full UK Driving Licence.
• Understanding of stone manufacturing, polishing and finishing processes.
• Experience carrying out quality checks and inspections.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
