Overview We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Rathmena team on a part-time contract, working 2 X 12 hour night shifts per week. The shifts are night shift 8pm to 8am between Monday to Sunday. We are offering a £500 Joining bonus for this role. T&Cs apply: Employees must remain in continuous employment in the role for a minimum of 6 months to qualify for the joining bonus. Essential Criteria No experience necessary Desirable Criteria Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) Experience within a paid Nursing Home or similar environment to include personal care experience We are an Equal Opportunities Employer. Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily living activities, for example, washing, dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.
• Follow guidelines for safe movement of clients, using appropriate equipment where necessary.
• Record food/equipment temperatures.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as laid down by the company.
• Adhere to the NISCC Codes of Practice Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines.
• Ensure the confidentiality of clients, colleagues and the company at all times.
• Washing, drying and ironing duties.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Communicate regularly with the line manager.
• Obtain NISCC registration before employment and maintain during employment.
• Provide a quality service at all times.
• Work as part of a team.
• Whilst the above is an outline of the duties you will be required to carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Essential Skills

• None required.

Desirable Skills

• Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).
