Job description

Due to a range of upcoming new projects, we are seeking to recruit a Civils Groundsworker to join us. Main contract works at various locations throughout Northern Ireland will involve: Earthworks and General Civils work. Surfacing work. Foul and storm drainage installations. Road and street works. Communications and ducting installations. Environmental improvement works. Finishing works e.g. paving, kerbing, fencing.

Responsibilities

• General ground and construction works, including, drainage, duct work, kerbing, paving, fencing, concreting, landscaping works.
• Excavation works; site clearance, stoning, compaction, re-instatement.
• Working alongside other site operatives.
• Operating site dumpers/rollers if qualified to do so.
• Other labour duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Should have attention to details and quality of workmanship.
• Drivers Licence.

Desirable Skills

• Streetworks Operative card.
• Dumper/roller card.
