Full-time & Part-time roles available Responsible to Bakehouse Production Manager £13.68 per hour. This role mainly requires the decorating, finishing and packaging & labelling of bakery products ready for crating up and dispatching to our stores. May also involve some preparation of baking ingredients and supporting bakers with the production of various bakery items.

Responsibilities

• Icing cakes, decorating traybakes, chocolate finishing.
• Cutting, portioning and packing bakery items.
• Ensure correct labelling of products (ingredients, allergens, dates).
• Quality checking finished items.
• Preparing products ready for dispatch, order picking for each location.
• Supporting bakers during production.
• Weighing ingredients, preparing mixes, fillings, icing, toppings etc.
• Stock rotation and basic stock handling.
• Dishwashing and clean down duties.
• Possible van driving delivering to our stores (driving licence required).

• Experience in a food production or kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail, especially with labelling and allergens.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, active role.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and processes accurately.
• Able to work required working hours.

Desirable Skills

• Previous bakery or food manufacturing experience.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge (e.g. Level 2 Food Safety).
• Experience with packing, labelling, or dispatch processes.
• Interest in baking or food production.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
